Autumn in Snowflake, AZ. . .

A few weeks ago Jared's sister flew in from Tennessee and together we headed up to Snowflake to spend the weekend with family. We always love the time we get to spend there. . . we sleep in a little longer, stay up a little later, and put on a good ten pounds from Sara's cooking! But more than anything. . . we make fun memories, and the kids can't wait to go back.

Scott was so sweet, and took the girls on a sunset ride. I can't believe I forgot to bring my camera!  The sunset was so beautiful though, I don't think I could ever forget it.

Baby Dean and Seth. Aren't they just the cutest?

And, autumn wouldn't be complete without apple picking at grandpa's. . .

We stopped by the old barn to say "hi."

My husband used to play basketball on this very hoop when he was little . . . which, according to our kids, must have been "centuries ago."

The boys were in heaven playing a game of football with dad and uncle Osc. They played until it almost got too dark to see.

Little Ella— my sidekick on the swing and the best cheerleader ever!

"Delicious autumn! My very soul is wedded to it, and if I were a bird I would fly about the earth seeking the successive autumns."
