Exploring: Snowflake, AZ {part 1}

“Summer afternoon—summer afternoon; to me those have always been the two most beautiful words in the English language.”
― Henry James

My husband is from a little town in Arizona called, Snowflake. A few weeks ago we made a trip up there to see family, and I'm just now getting to all the pictures. I took so many that I'm going to have to make this post two parts. So, here's part 1 . . .

Watching a melodrama at the Social Hall and playing with cousins.

Little Grayson - what a stud!

Playing at grandpa's house and exploring the yard. My husband has so many memories from his childhood here, and always has a funny story to tell. His stories are my favorite.

Lots of sweet moments like this. . .Lily and little Isla.

Our favorite Ella girl!

Late nights full of laughter, games, fireworks and glow sticks in the yard.

And early mornings full of fun. . .

Potato sack races, candy, and parades.

Little Lyndie and Marlie - so full of giggles and fun! This part of our family lives in Idaho, so we don't get to see them nearly enough, but on the flip side it makes these moments all the more sweeter!

On Friday we'll post part 2 with more of the fun we had in this cute little town!
