Day 9. Jan 9. Remember when you were a kid and life seemed so full of wonder? Oh, the joy and hours of fun a plain cardboard box can bring!! Here's to making 2015, a year full of simple wonder and amazing adventure. . .with the people who live right in front of us!
Day 10. Jan 10. Some New Years Resolutions went out the window this afternoon, but man was it worth every bite: Krispy Kreme cake doughnuts, drizzled with fresh lemons from our tree. #tasteslikeheaven #wortheverybite #noregrets
Day 11. Jan 11. If my husband knows anything about me, it's how much I adore all things French. For Christmas, we choose to keep things simple this year and only do a few stocking stuffers. This is what I found in mine. . . a vintage embroidery stamp from France. The wooden texture, the aged metal, the seasoned smell-- it's faultless.
But what means more than to me than any gift, is how sweet my husband is. He puts so much of his own heart into picking gifts that speak the language of mine. He lives everyday like this--investing himself in the people around him to make their lives a little sweeter, a little brighter. I walked past the stamp tonight and I knew this would be my picture for the day.
Day 12. Jan 12. Collecting bacteria. Currently watching Seth swab the different surfaces of our house to see which ones have the most bacteria. Haha, definitely looking forward to those results! My bet's on the shower floor. His is on the computer mouse. #Homeschool #scienceproject
Day 13. Jan 13. Happy Tuesday!! It's my favorite day of the week, because it's date night around here! We have certain weeks that are reserved for Jared and I, but others are set aside for one-on-one dates with the kiddos. Tonight we got to spend it with Seth. I love these moments so much. . . getting to pause time and see the world through the eyes of my children. It is such a beautiful gift.
Day 14. Jan 14. Look what just arrived? Our new business cards!! We're so excited to show you what we've been working on for the last few months. . .launching a new line of items at the end of January, so stay tuned!!
Day 15. Jan 15. Looks like fall finally decided to visit our neighborhood! The kiddos and I ventured out this morning for an early walk. The sun was just peaking her head over the mountains, and the leaves crunched quietly beneath our feet. It was a little chilly, but so worth it!
