Oh Boston, you beautiful city.
In June, one of my sweet sisters watched the kids for us while Jared and I snuck away to Boston for the weekend. When we got home from our trip, we moved and school started the week after, so I'm just now sorting through the photos, which actually feels exciting, like I'm reliving this trip all over again. There are so many things I loved about this place, so many memories I want to remember, so rest assured that there will be many more Boston posts coming this month.
Several people have asked what our favorite place to visit was, and I'm not sure I have an answer for that. I have wanted to go to Boston ever since I can remember, and luckily for me, my husband has felt the same. It was everything we could have imagined...and so much more. Every piece of it was rich with culture and overflowing with character. There's something about this city that made me feel so small, yet wildly alive.
After a four-hour flight, the plane dropped below the clouds and Boston came into view. Seeing the coast and the little islands polka-dotting the Atlantic was so amazing. We couldn't believe we were actually here!!
Failing asleep for the first time out east, was so surreal. This trip was a dream come true, and we can't wait to share more of it with you!
