Life in Pictures

I'm a little behind on blogging about life these days. It never seems to slow down quite enough for me to juggle it all, but that's okay. I'm learning to embrace everything right where we are, and just love the moment we're in. And tonight I've got a few minutes, so I'm catching up here.

I thought about skipping this post, but truly it's the little things in life, just like these moments, that I know I will want to remember someday. So here's a few of our favorite and super-random things lately...

We saw this street sign while driving around Tempe and it made us all laugh...so the kids insisted I take a picture :)

Hanging out with great friends!

Learning to use crutches in the ER at 1am :) Our nurse was the best!!

I'm so incredibly proud of these boys!! This was my husband's first year coaching basketball, and for most of the boys, this was also their first year playing. But guess who took 1st place in the CAA Division lll championship!! Winning definitely isn't everything, but these boys have worked so hard and we are so proud of them and how far they have come this season!!

This sweet boy of mine went through so much during the week of his basketball playoffs. First a trip to the ER for a foot injury, lots of pain, crutches, a boot, days of keeping it elevated, and a missed playoff game. Then a trip to the specialist, a fever, a sinus infection, and the cherry on top...a burst ear drum! And through it all, he's kept his chin up and never stopped smiling!

Beautiful flowers from beautiful friends :) I threw my back out trying to help carry Seth the night he injured his foot, but we have the most incredible community who pitched in to help....they brought dinners, flowers, and spoiled us rotten. So grateful for all the love and help.

Guess who got to help coach the basketball All-Star game at the Talking Stick's Arena? Yes, the very arena where the Phoenix Suns play!! It was pretty awesome watching my man  :)

A beautiful Sunday drive :)

Some men buy their wives flowers, but mine, he kills the roof rats for me :)

Refining his cartography skills.

Mixing up paint colors. Always working on something fun around here :)

Happy Monday everyone!
